Dear Club Owners and Members,
I am delighted to present the Annual Report for 2025 on behalf of SAAaerialnaztix. This report highlights our achievements, progress, and the strides we have made in advancing gymnastics in our regions. We are proud of our accomplishments and excited for the future of our sport.
As we reflect on the past year, we are reminded of the resilience and dedication that define our gymnastics community. In the face of local challenges, our athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers came together to ensure the vitality and growth of gymnastics in our region. We are deeply grateful for your unwavering support and commitment.
Our membership continues to grow. This growth is a testament to our commitment to inclusivity and our ability to engage new clubs, young athletes and their families. We have successfully implemented new groups and age sections, which have attracted many new members.
A "Golden ticket" initiative was introduced in 2025. All gymnasts that achieved a set of challenging results per apparatus and level were given a ticket to attend our SA Championships without any charge. The intention of this initiative is to reward our top performers and give back financially to those who have been supporting them through this journey.
Throughout the year, our athletes have demonstrated significant improvement in their skills. Our coaches have also participated in training sessions, ensuring they are equipped with the latest techniques and strategies to train our gymnasts effectively.
This year, we maintained a stable financial position. We are committed to ensuring that all expenses were managed responsibly and that our financial health remains strong moving forward. Our revenue streams, which mainly include membership fees & event revenues have remained stable, allowing us to invest in the development of gymnastics clubs, coaches, judges and the Federation. Competition equipment and tumbling floor mats were replaced to give the gymnasts the best opportunity to improve.
I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to our coaches, athletes, parents, and volunteers. Your unwavering support and dedication have been instrumental in our achievements this year.
Cindy, Annelien, Ann, Stephanus, Tanya & Nadia. SAAaerialnaztix is a product of your hard work, dedication and unwavering determination to make SAAerialnaztix a massive success. You should be proud of what you have achieved in the past 7 years. The entire SAAerialnaztix community salutes you.
Committee elections will be conducted this year. SAAaerialnaztix members will select the committee that will drive the Federation and growth forward for the next 4 years. Good luck and best wishes to those that are elected.
In January 2024 we hosted our first awards event. Gymnasts of all apparatus and levels were awarded for their achievements obtained during the 2023 SA Championships. The third awards event has already been planned in January 2026 to celebrate the top achievers from 2025.
As we move forward, let us continue to work together to build a strong foundation for our clubs. Together, we can achieve great things and provide our athletes with the opportunities they deserve. Thank you for your commitment to our shared vision and the future of our gymnastics community.
I leave you with the words of John Maxwell:
"Leadership is unlocking people's potential to become better!"
Yours in sport,
Hein Jonck
